Job Description

The Department of Tourism requires dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to assist with the administration and management of departmental assets. The successful candidates will support the Asset Management unit by coordinating the movement of office furniture and equipment, maintaining asset records, conducting asset verification exercises, performing spot checks, updating asset registers, and assisting with asset disposal processes.

The role requires individuals who are organized, physically capable of handling office equipment, and committed to maintaining accurate records. Asset Movement and Allocation

  • Physically moving furniture and equipment within departmental offices

  • Ensuring assets are delivered to the correct locations

  • Obtaining signatures from end users and asset officials

Asset Register Administration

  • Updating the departmental asset register

Inventory Control

  • Printing inventory control sheets

  • Ensuring inventory sheets are signed and verified
