The Ubuntu Institute Education programme is dedicated to the enhancement of skills, training, and the provision of employment opportunities and scholarships for youth and adults from historically disadvantaged backgrounds. This initiative primarily targets the international community, with a particular emphasis on the USA and Canada, where the Ubuntu Institute facilitates training and internship placements for its fellows. The programme is officially referred to as the Ubuntu Institute Fellowship Programme (UIFP), having previously been known as the Ubuntu Exposure Programme.
The Ubuntu Institute invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for a paid SETA internship programme designed for unemployed graduates from Higher Education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions. This internship programme will span a duration of 12 months at selected employers, following a comprehensive work readiness training.
